With leeds utd 5th loss of the season at brighton patience is wearing thin , if leeds don't win or draw at forest could spell the end of the road for Daniel farke . He clearly did not have a plan B at half time , I was annoyed at our leeds players not closing brighton down in the 1st half , which gave brighton time and space to come out , and play and they then put us on the back foot , instead of Leeds putting brighton on the back foot. We need a spark in the team , we looked dull , predictable and boring . https://www.facebook.com/share/1BffpsPw1M/
Am I not part of this small group? I feel left out This content isn't available at the moment When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people or changed who can see it, or it's been deleted.
History repeating Leeds manager Jesse Marsch has been sacked after less than a year in charge. Leeds lost 1-0 at Nottingham Forest on Sunday
Yes, Farke needs to go right away ... he is being outfoxed by other managers, he simply can't see things in-game and he's struggling to cope
Calls for farke to go will grow stronger in the coming weeks , its not just about a striker or even defence it's about his style of play , his tactics , subs on at 70 mins all the time , not rotating the squad etc etc
Farke knew where our problems were and to fair didn't get backed fully. Said he was short upfront and we are struggling upfront but not only there right now. Thought personally would of went yesterday but from reading it ain't the case. If we were in the bottom 3 he would of. He won't get through November/ December unless he strikes gold against some of the better teams ahead. October was his month and he failed. On his personal case we sit out the bottom 3 in which its His job to do this season. Which is prob keeping him his job.
I don’t buy into he didn’t get backed fully. If you include Harrison returning and keeping him, we signed 11 new players, he spent £113m If you have a budget and you spend it on areas where you seem to have an abundance of options and leave yourself short, that’s on him. Unless he felt whoever was in charge of sorting out sales and raising funds under delivered. Gruev, Tanaka, Ampadu - Did we really need both Stach and Longstaff Bijol and Bornauw did we need both. Many will say yes and I haven’t a problem with signing players but it should be first team 11 players coming in, not bench warmers, not wasting money on both Stach and Longstaff, not spending out on both Bijol and Bornauw. Bornauw we’d been chasing since January. He was at the end of his contract so we got him cheap. Emu on here and even a few Sunderland fans said Leeds want Bijol, slow and cumbersome, can’t understand why Leeds want him. Yes hindsight now but if you have £113m to spend get the key areas sorted first.
Fair enough reply and agree with it. But he did say he needed extra bodies uptop last few weeks of window. He never got them for whatever reason. So did he think he had more money to spend or was the slider moved last minute. I'm not anti or for Farke . I dont agree with alot of his decisions. What we really got to think about is we are where we all expected or thought we would be. Diveriing around but out the bottom 3. prob will change in the upcoming months but that's sadly how good we are. The position we are now or lower.
Yeah think we're about par. Sunderland causing the extra panic. Swap them and Forest in the table and you're pretty confident of staying up.
if the strategy is to play 3 midfielders then you do need the cover, Harrison we likely couldn't offload so accepted him as part of the squad. Last year we had two centre halves crocked for a significant period of time, this season, no problems so we haven't seen a sniff of Bornauw. If he'd been here last year he'd have had gametime. DF said he was happy with the squad defensively and midfield, but felt we were short up front. That was his public view at least. Our budget went on a stronger squad rather than better first 11 really, people can critique that, but they'd be the first to whinge when we were playing u21s after a few injuries. We really needed a sprinkling of stardust in the 10/winger area in my view. The Sunderland point is a good one... it gives everyone a comparative of what we could have won. They're riding the crest of a wave and good luck to them, because they will fall off it. Overall, we've played better than I expected in most games, the ease with which we've conceded has been the most concerning thing of late, because its habit forming and confidence draining
Yes Farke said he wanted more strength up front and we were after Harry Wilson who has scored one goal in 8 games, hardly a game changer. He would have been competing on the right wing where we have James and Gnonto. All coaches will keep saying I want more but when the owner says you have £113m to spend, spend it wisely then the fault is with Farke He took the credit last season for the signings, he has to take that same responsibility this season. Was Ramazani really no good, he shipped out Cresswell the season before, was he worse than Bijol, he got rid of Joseph and I question is Nmecha better We signed Boranauw as Farke could not forgive Wober yet he can forgive Aaronson and Harrison. Is our £18m keeper better than Darlow, lots of debatable transfers and if Farke gets credit when it goes right, he has to take the hit when it looks poor 4-1-4-1 against Forest, what a shambles and the substitutions, they were panic ridden
Jesus the next two weeks bashing Farke here and on social media is gonna be tedious reading. Thankfully I got to see something half decent on Sunday. Will have to keep me going till next season
