@scottloach1 is in line to make his 150th start for #watfordfc tomorrow at Blackpool. John Eustace could make his 350th career appearance.
It's a mark of how quickly Loach has progressed that he made his debut aged 20, and at 23 he's nearly half way towards John Eustace's total number of appearances.
They will attack us with pace and all their forwards look comfortable with this style of play. Having said that I was not that impressed with them at Southampton and think that they should have lost that game by at least a couple of goals. We are now much more solid in every department and occasionally show a little bit of class when we keep the ball down so there is a chance that we could just nick this one by the odd goal. 3-2 to the Golden Boys.
Ak the link to the Blackpool stats goes to Leeds'. I think we will upset the tangerine barrel and take three points from the Seasiders. 0-2 to the Golden Boys.
My weekend is delayed so I may be modifying the thread as the game progresses. I am still to travel 150km so could do the first period.
Going to Betty's comment, I still can't work out why this match wasn't switched to an earlier kick-off to allow for a traffic flow problem due to the Strictly final. I'm not sure what I put on the WPL thread, but I'll be OK with a 1-1.
Fair point Pete. Although I find this stat even more surprising. John Eustace 260 league starts. Scott Loach 174 league starts.
Well NNW with Scott Loach 23 years old and John Eustace 32 years old I have to agree with you. I suppose I am also surprised to read that John Eustace has played more games for us than any other club.
Shouldn't be a problem - I would imagine all the traffic would be going the same way - getting out of Blackpool asap
I think this is going to be another draw....can just see both teams cancelling each other out. Think if anyone were to win it'd be Blackpool with a screamer.
I wont be around for the match as i will be watching the local team, Godmanchester Rovers, play Team Bath with my brother. It will be his first time so should be fun.
though, having said that, i don't know Blackpool, so have no idea if cars going both ways (both in and out of the town) will cause a bottleneck!
Having discovered that Blackpool is my nearest club, I briefly flirted with the idea of travelling down, but the proliferation of white stuff on the roads quickly put paid to that.
