Good Morning. It's Monday 10th November, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road Auf Wiedersehen Farke Daniel Farke’s tenure as Leeds United manager is hanging by a thread. Consecutive defeats to Brighton and Nottingham Forest have left the Whites perilously close to the drop zone, just one point clear of danger. The timing could scarcely be worse. A newly revived Aston Villa, hot on the back of thrashing Bournemouth 4-0 awaits the Whites after the International Break, before a punishing run against Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool threatens to deepen the crisis. It’s not merely the six losses that carry alarm bells, nor even the six goals conceded in the last two outings — it’s the intangible but unmistakable loss of momentum. Inside the club, sources hint at a split in the boardroom over Farke’s future, with his continued stay owed partly to sponsor support and a desire to avoid further turmoil after the team’s recent promotion. Yet, even loyal supporters are beginning to ask whether the German is coaxing all he can from a squad widely acknowledged to be short on depth and quality. And while the 49ers ownership group must answer for a tepid summer transfer window, there is a growing sentiment that Leeds may need a manager capable of transcending his tools — before the clock finally runs out on Daniel Farke. please log in to view this image Marco Rose emerges as clear favourite for ER hot seat Online betting site talkSPORT BET have released a tantalising list of potential successors for when the axe falls on Daniel Farke. Topping the list at 11/8 is Marco Rose, the 49-year-old former Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig gaffer who’s been waiting for the right opportunity since leaving Leipzig in March. Intriguingly, he reportedly held talks recently with the 49ers over the Rangers post! It would be nieve to suggest that Leeds were not part of the conversation? Links between Rose and Leeds club run deeper than shared ambition. Red Bull, the global energy drinks giant that owns RB Leipzig (where Rose last managed) also holds a 10% stake in the Whites. On paper, it’s no more than a commercial investment, but in football, such connections often spark more substantial conversations behind closed doors. His track record in the Red Bull football network, built on high-intensity pressing, quick transitional play, and a commitment to developing young talent, mirrors the on-field profile Leeds have often aspired to. For a club still shaping its Premier League identity, the idea of combining a tactician with proven Red Bull pedigree and an existing corporate tie-up feels like more than mere coincidence. Hot on his heels at 3/1 is Brendan Rodgers, just off a stint with Celtic and said to be eyeing a Premier League return. Then come big-name outsiders like Steven Gerrard (8/1), Michael Carrick (14/1), and Norwegian success story Kjetil Knutsen (14/1). Even England boss Gareth Southgate makes an appearance at 20/1, worth noting he lives just outside Harrogate. So here we are again. Usual story looking for a new manager / miracle worker. Who’s gonna want to come to a club to oversee a guaranteed relegation. I knew this season would be a damp squib but thought we might have made a better fist of it. What’s the betting our dumb ass owners will bring in a manager who has no pl experience. Would be typical
Morning all I don't want to sound like a smug bastard but I said 2 years ago we would achieve relegation with Farke in the Premier League. It's time for him to go. It's great sitting on here the day after the event and saying the squad isn't good enough for the league but we all know it's bull **** and Farke is the one who isn't good enough. I'm not surprised an ex Red Bull manager is in the frame as I think RB are going to slowly buy us out and they have a lot of influence over the board. They are the ones who have run 4 football clubs across the world not the 49ers who own an American Football Franch. US and European sports are ran differently. Like I said Rose is not a suprise as he managed Leipzig but I don't think he's the right man. We don't need a flair esq manager from abroad nor do I think Rogers is the guy either.. Rogers is a confidence manager. He can get results but he can do **** look at Liverpool and Leicester. We need a ugly ass, gritty English manager who is up for the fight. Steve Cooper would be my first choice but he's at Bronby. So we're probably gonna have to settle with Rose iny eyes.
I’m a die hard Leeds fan. I want my team to be successful. If Farke goes I want the best possible manager to replace him to give us a chance of staying up. However, I’m also a lover of irony. Part of me would piss myself if we hired Marco Rose. Recently sacked by leipzig and ex of Salzburg. He’s the German Jesse!
It is a shame that Farke is not a Premier League manager. He seems to struggle with reading the game and being proactive. The changes he makes when we are losing are often too late and usually happen away from home, where he plays negatively. I have supported him until this weekend, but now it is crucial that we bring in someone else. I am not sure who that person will be. I agree with Mr Wolves White that we do not want a flair manager without any Premier League experience. I also think that the players are wondering, ‘What is he doing to us when we could be playing better?’ We are very weak away from home. It is like a different team plays at home. That part is just not making sense to me. I also think that home games are going off the rails as well. It is only a matter of time before we get a big defeat at home. It could be Villa, or when we play Liverpool, that would be the worst. Oh, and in between that, we play Man City away. That could be double figures, especially since City have been in good form recently. Oh, this is all dependant on Farke staying.. I think we need to replace way before January if we can get the right manager in.
Yeaahhhhhhhhhhh we have done it yet again , we have ended yet another dismal run, unfortunately though it’s the oppositions.. if your on a poor run----- Leeds will fix it Hi everyone
