The players will be sending each other texts and sat with their families saying why the **** won't he play Hall at left back and why did he risk him on a yellow Some will be considering their options and asking their agents to help facilitate a move.
Yea, West Ham game was the first time i felt a genuine lack of effort, not just bad play, and today was the same. Something is very wrong.
Well it's only going to get worse for years now if they already spent the Isak money, which I think they have. Newcastle have done an Everton potentially, although I suppose they will get some cash for Tonali this summer..
It does feel that way doesn’t it. What do you think it is? Like genuinely. Are the players we have just not as good as we think or are they complacent. I don’t see any players shouting at each other. It’s all rather nicey nice. Howe maybe (it’s a possibility) is at his peak and can’t take us to that next level. We lose our next game (it’s a high possibility) and we have lost half of our PL games.
I made a comment on this earlier, the “tight group” brings its own dangers where there’s complacency and questions will be asked by the better players in the group. I don’t think we’re alone in wondering why Burn is starting or why Pope is. The money wasted on Elanga, a weird £40m spend to slightly upgrade Longstaff with Ramsey, the dire Wissa decision, the likes of Tonali will be looking at that and questioning it just as much as we do. Then doubt creeps in, so you’ve got loyalty to crap players, a complacency as nobody is under any threat due to a crap scouting and transfer approach, doubt from big players which will hamper how they play, and so on. Howe will go down as one of our finest managers and what he’s accomplished is nothing short of magnificent. But it’s reached the end, mistakes are being repeated all over the club as everyone here has already said and it’s getting worse. Personally we should be planning for succession and setting up for Howe to take over from Tuchel.
It’s a good post this. The Howe love is ok I get it. He won a trophy but that doesn’t give him excuses. We have spent a lot of money. 600m and he’s still making these **** clangers away from home. There is no excuses now. He has to get better and that’s a fact. The results in Europe mask things a bit but PL teams have a massive advantage over the rest because of the amount of money we have so it’s a false dawn really. We play City next and if we lose. Wow. We have lost 6/12 games. Thats a massive problem. Howe. What you gonna do.
Hopefully when the time does come David Hopkins on is on the ball. As for Southgate, I'd rather give Mike Williamson a chance
Might as well stick with the Bournemouth connection. The irony of replacing Howe with this man. IRAOLA
