I love a beer, and food, but find it very odd that people can't just sit and watch the game they've paid to see without being desperate for some booze. Just my opinion.
As much as I'm all for getting laws overturned I don't see Hull City being a big enough organisation to get it to the House of Parliament. For me it's a good law anyway. If they want a drink so badly watch it on the concourse.

Thought the ref was poor yesterday , allowed Pompey to time waste at every event , goals , injuries . He let them bend his ear a lot , he wasn’t watching where they took throw ins from he was looking into the area.The ref at Derby let almost every foul go unpunished and the Rams benefited from numerous shoves in the back of our players in the air. Lastly two of Pompey backs obstructed Joseph pressing straight from a kick off , sick of seeing it - it’s a foul!! So many teams do this now .
Hughes is probably the best passer we’ve had at centre-half. I don’t think Greaves had either the vision or ability to play some of the passes Hughes does. Don’t think Chester or any of our more technical defenders from the Bruce days did either. It’s not just his diagonal passes like the one he played to Gelhardt yesterday either. The pass for Coyle for the first goal was sublime as well and he frequently attempts line-splitting passes down the left for Giles that sets up Giles perfectly for a cross or cutback.
Yeah. He attempts those passes almost every game too. He steps forward with the ball and bends those passes between the opposition’s right back and centre-back for Giles to run onto and whip a cross in. Credit goes to Jakirović for utilising that as we rarely saw it last season. It seems simple but Hughes playing a line-breaking pass for Giles to run onto and cross into the box has created a lot of chances this season.
Back in early 1970s was surprised that you could drinks in grounds after none being available at BP. Leicester in the away end and 3 bars behind side stand, at Burnley,their Kop, at the time. That led to a bit of fun when me and a mate took advantage of that had quite a few beers and went in there. Which was fine until Waggy went on a run from the halfway line and scored and we were the only two who celebrated. There were clubs at Sunderland and Middlesbrough but you couldn’t take drinks out. It was supposed to be for members but they let a busful of us in. Was a bar in Gelderd End when we played Blyth in the Cup Replay but again you couldn’t take drinks out. .
Why doesn't that apply to every other form of entertainment then? RL, RU, Darts, concerts etc etc.....why does it only apply to football fans?
Thanks. What kind of glasses did they use for drinks you could take out? I’m guessing no plastic back then, or am I wrong? And at the places where you couldn’t take drinks out, were they busy during the game, or just at key times like before kickoff and half time, like now?
Because, take it further, the club ask us to get to the ground earlier. Why is that do you think? Basically because we spend more money and maybe, as a secondary thought, ease any crush at the turnstiles at a minute to three. To get us there early, switched on clubs provide a Fans Park outside the ground so they can get a drink and something to eat, we don't, we have face painting and sometimes a blow up goal for the kids to kick into. No food or drink available outside the ground, unlike other clubs. So we go into the stadium and use the concourse. Nowhere to sit and eat any food bought, nowhere to actually enjoy a pint, drink stood up, shoved all over the place, often in everyone's way, hardly a pleasant experience. Or be able to use the seat you have paid for in advance and 'enjoy' any pre match entertainment the club have put on? Eat your food sat down and enjoy a pint? Exactly like you can do in the same stadium if you were watching a rugby league game. At the moment we have the young lad playing his bedroom set of Ibiza tunes, maybe some like that? but surely the pre match entertainment could be so much better? The club would sell more, the concourses wouldn't be so packed, and maybe if there was a reason to get to the stadium earlier the queues at the kiosks wouldn't be so long and tedious to wait it? Just a thought. After all I thought we were in the entertainment industry and in competition for customers with other entertainment venues?
