I blame Baz for the goal, not the magnificent replication of traffic cones by the outfield players. Baz should be put to the firing squad, whilst the rest of our beautiful team should be knighted. Oh sorry. No politics
Bazunu is ****, let’s be honest. Let’s in dreadful goals consistently, and is one of the only GK’s I’ve seen always doing full on dives for shots that are obviously going miles wide. Pretty funny to watch at times. Really hoping we have a GK in on loan come early January otherwise we are always going to have to score at least 2 goals to win games
Lovely ball from fellowship at wing back. Two assists. Still think he is waster as a wing back and his defending is not existent but all of Adams effective play this match has been out on the right and cutting in.
The next two matches are difficult and will be more revealing as to how were are improving. Seven points from play offs.
I thought it was THB who played the pass for Adam's goal? Fellows was about 20 yards ahead of him. All three of them were very good.
He's far too slow to react and that along with his poor positioning means while it's very rare for him to make huge errors he has **** loads of 'should have done better'. In my view he's cost us a goal in each of the last two games which worked out fine because of the opposition but will cost us in the upcoming games. He still doesn't strike me as a natural keeper tbh.
There’s always a part of me that feels like you do when your keeper has been sent off, and you put one of your outfield players in goal. I mean, he’s better than that, but you get the gist.
To me it says a lot that I really don't rate McCarthy and would have happily seen him sold years ago, and yet I have him comfortably ahead of Bazunu. I still don't believe we would have been promoted in 2024 if Bazunu hadn't got injured in the warm-up vs Preston.
The shot wasn’t that far away from him, it didn’t go in off the post. He was positioned slightly to the right of the goal and was slow to move. I think most people can see McCarthy is the better shot stopper and is more likely to get us points in those tight ground-out games.
Poor Baz, The Sheffield Wednesday keeper puts on one of the most comical displays at St Mary’s in a while and a few still repeat themselves ad nauseam about him. The race for supremacy remains on a knife edge Bazunu 8 App 3W 3D 2L - 11 against McCarthy 7 App 1W 3D 3L - 10 against
There is no argument as to who is the better goalkeeper. I would select McCarthy everytime. Bazunu was slow to react to the goal yesterday. He also makes a lot of bizarre choices. I can see Bazunu improving but , at this point in time, he is 2nd in my opinion
