Makes me laugh when the pundits bemoan liverpools dismal season because they signed 11 new players how many players we signed yet gelled
I do get the feeling both of those could be away in Jan either on loan or a permanent move, they both need to play, its in their own interest to play regular rather than be bench warmers
watching it back, and I am sure another poster has mentioned this, but Enzo doesn’t have an option to pass to while Rice hunts him down. Short lapse of concentration, and a bit later by Sadiki and these are ruthless. I am so delighted we got back at them though. That says so much about us, which other teams will fear.
Thought that was stupid by Walcott. Its just a natural position. He's obviously never headed a ball in his career.
I love that picture. After the way he was treated at Ajax, that should be made into one of them "never give up" type motivational posters!
Chuckled at this. It’s nice to be able to chuckle at that instead of cringing in pain. On the elbow, I’m sure Trai caught a stray one second half and nobody is crying about that.
Walcott's comments did contain complementary things as well tbf: "Sunderland went physical today but within the laws of the game, apart from one moment in the first half when Dan Ballard challenged Mikel Merino in the box," Match of the Day pundit and former Arsenal forward Theo Walcott said. "They were well organised and I didn't think they'd be able to keep it up for 90 minutes. "There's a reason why Sunderland will be fine in this league. The Stadium of Light is not an easy place to play football. "It was the most rattled I've seen Gabriel and William Saliba this season."
Didn’t get on here last night and now got a proper hangover and no voice. Arsenal are a top top side mind. Technically so good, but we gave them a tough game and what an ending. Their two wide players are quality. But the set up limited the chances. Le Bris got pretty much all of if spot on. Brilliant atmosphere and massive respect to the unity and commitment of our players.
Enzo ****ed up there’s no doubt, but he has been utterly immense last few games and was superb covering his ground yesterday, so it’s a football incident and he will get no grief from me for it. Learn from it, grow from it. No worries Enzo move on and keep doing g what you have done. Just don’t do that.
Not looking to argue but my recollection of it was he was trying to say that but without having the balls to actually say it straight out? Some nonsense about we looked to disrupt them for him Ballard saw their player and there was a slight movement towards the olayers cheek bone and his arm ended up in a high condition or some ****e! So although its 100% what he wanted and what he is hinting at didn’t have the balls to say it! Always been a bit of a fanny hasn't he?
Had a look through my photos, and this was his wine ready for the West Ham match. I hope he drank both bottles after that win mind please log in to view this image
