Interesting Matt is clearly ITK on it. Hopefully they’ll ask him about GoN and he’ll tell them that it wouldn’t be the smartest idea.
A fluky win at QPR and a routine home win against the league's worst team doesn't change anything. I'm hoping for a new bloke in the hot seat for the Charlton game.
If they were seriously considering GON then the crowd today will have put a stop to that. Just hope they don’t get giddy with the back to back wins and hire the U21 guy. We’ve bumbled through two games against two really poor sides, let’s not read more into then that.
The only thing I would say is QPR are probably average for this league, most of the teams are ****. The last two games have just strengthened my view that all we need a manager to do is get the players trying and we will get results such is the poor quality across the league. Not saying that is Tonda but whoever it might be
I think it's very possible that he'll still be in charge for the Charlton game. And if he is, I won't have a problem with that - assuming it's still as caretaker. Even if we are considering him - which we might not be - I don't see that there should be a need to rush to get it done over the next week or two. It's not like we need to act quickly to avoid another team snapping him up instead. We can give him a third game, a fourth game, a fifth game to continue to prove himself. We've hopefully learnt from the Selles situation, when we decided way too early to keep him in charge.
I agree, listening to his interview on Solent I was quite impressed, so we have a competent person in charge at present, therefore no unnecessary rush to appoint an expensive potential misfit. Too many mistakes in this area have been disastrous to the Club. Patience needed on this.
O’Neil favourite for the Norwich job aswell, but close between him and Rodgers in their betting Corberan apparently Boro’s choice if/when Edwards leaves So yeah looks like we are in the same market as them
i said earlier (can't remember where) that if Tonda got a decent haul of points whilst in charge it would highlight that part of the issue was WS didn't have the players on side. The fact we have now got 6 points in two games with pretty much the same team and formation shows that if we get the right person in this team can score and can win and can start looking like they can play football and we are still not that far off playoffs
Possibly, think it could be close between us and Boro as evening out the parachute payments could be they seem much more stable and better run than us.
I would put Boro a little ahead of us in the attractiveness stakes. Second in the league and I've long suspected that Steve Gibson is a great owner to work for. Without any doubt though we're both ahead of Norwich.
I think Boro will be there or there abouts at the end of the season. I am shocked that Edwards is leaving them for Wolves who are doomed. There is still alot to do with Saints and not convinced that SR actually makes us attractive. We will finish between 8th and 12 this season. I can see O Neill at Portsmouth although i rate Mousinho.
