We normally stat pad with half a dozen passes between the defence and Nardi before one of them has to wallop it anyway. It’s more a measure of directness than how good we are with the ball.
Last time I saw the R's play against Charlton Athletic, Nov 23rd, 2013, Ben Hamer only succumbed to that Charlie Austin 40th min rocket.
A disappointing afternoon En route to Manchester Airport now Have to seriously consider the wisdom of coming back for the Hull game
Alledgedly Kolli has been to **** off by a qpr coach due to his attitude and overall fitness . Anyway that is what is circulating on the twittersphere. No idea if true
Just back from yet another dismal game. 3 positives. We had a keeper who doesn't **** himself when the ball goes in the box, Burrell works his socks off and we didn't lose. It was a game with two average teams (at best) each hoping for a win rather than trying to get one. Sheff utd probably wanting it more to be fair. We seemed to be under instructions, when they got the ball then every player had to get back in our half. There was little to no pressing them in their half. Mbengue as much as a fan favourite, is a liability at times. Varanes first and often only thought is to pass it backwards. It was piss poor
Yes, you're right, faffing around at the back would flatter the passing accuracy percentage but, come on, 61% tells us a little bit more than we had a direct style of play. I watched the game and our passing (and ball control generally) left a lot to be desired; it was like pinball at times.
Don’t know l keep waking up on a Sunday morning & looking at the match report. I guess a draw isn’t pointless.
