-6 games. If we get relegated by 6 points or fewer, you’ve got to look at the very late decision to fire Manning as a very questionable Club owner decision
Kellen Fisher the player sent out to face the media. I know Kenny is generally pretty good at doing that, but beyond McLean are we looking at a 21 year old to be a leader?
From what I've seen of games recently I think this might be part of the problem. McLean aside I don't see much on pitch leadership, maybe Stacey. I hoped Darling would be a stronger leader. McLean can't do it all. I dread to think where we'd be if he'd gone to Rangers. Lack of leadership in the squad is surely a recruitment issue rather than a Manning issue ! Not sure how / when it's decided who does the media bit, but fair play to Fisher for giving it a go and great experience for him.

Norwich City can confirm that the club have parted company with head coach Liam Manning. Assistant head coach Chris Hogg and first-team coach analyst James Krause have also left the club. Sporting director Ben Knapper said: “We have tried absolutely everything possible to work through this incredibly challenging period but, unfortunately, given the recent run of results and performances, we have been left with no choice other than to make a change at this stage. “Liam and his staff worked tirelessly to move our football club forward. They are all fundamentally good people and we wish them the very best in whatever comes next. “We very much understand the frustration and criticism from our supporters at this stage. So far, results and performances on the pitch haven’t been good enough. We accept that responsibility, but it’s now imperative that we start to repair the relationship with our supporters and do everything we can to give them something to get behind.” First-team coach Ryan Garry, supported by goalkeeper coach Tony Roberts and set piece coach Nick Stanley, will take charge of the first team on an interim basis, as the club works to appoint a new head coach. I guess now we will find out if it was Manning or the players. If we can try to get someone in over the international break then they should at least have 1 fit left back available and a much more match fit Kvistgaarden
Manning has gone so The Pink Un is reporting. The last two managers have a total of 15 months in charge.
