HA'WAY THE LADS MACKEMS ATTACKEM The lad travelled up yesterday, think he went to a talk in at the SOL last night. Can we win this ? Yes, why not. I'm under no illusion how good arsenal are but at our best we can beat anyone. We just have to be right on top of our game and hopefully get a bit of luck thrown in. You know luck ? That thing that seemed to elude us for years until recently. I'll take a draw and won't be too disappointed with a loss. We've got a fantastic club, owner, staff and players and the best supporters in the world. And we're getting results. Not much more to ask for really. RTB's attention to detail is amazing. Unlike mine. Have sorted out this morning and the last hour or so in order to be ready for ko. Just remembered it's 5:30.. 2 1/2 hours to fill now -- just as well in one of the morning tasks i got more beers in than I actually needed today. Maybe it's a sign - good things come to those who wait- and with the dark nights now, 5:30 could be a night game under the lights --- I feel 5th round fa cup ManCity --- so lets shake up the football world 3-1 it is !!
This weekend 6 out of the bottom 7 in games against each other. Extend that to 8 from bottom 9 with the mags game. ( only bottom Wolves the exception) And we are not at this party !!

This has already been my favourite game of the season… I was asked by an old guy in Sheepfolds why I am a Sunderland supporter (I have no northern accent!) explained that it’s a family thing, Dad from Roker…,was asked where the n Roker…Enid Avenue…asked surname…told him…”your dad wasn’t Billy was he?” He bloody well was!! Apparently they were friends growing up together… I don’t much care what the result is - I met my old dads mate! Was a tad awkward to explain he died a few years ago but…
