Yes, it was great that they finally got a point. Hopefully that monkey is off their back now and they can build on from it. We'll probably need to win at least one game to stay up but at least we've still got a chance. Thank goodness there's only one relegation place this season.
So a good result for Portsmouth Women today, a 2-2 draw against Sunderland. Still probably need to win at some point, but at least we're making a fight of it.

Yes, it was a good result. Southampton helped us too by beating Sheffield United. With that result a draw would have been enough but a win is better. I see super Sophie Quirk scored twice. Good for her. Did you attend the game?
No, I'm over in Lymington for a couple of weeks having a break. Agree that Sophie Quirk is a very good prospect who could go far - hopefully with Pompey although I reckon there will be quite a few teams looking to sign her in the Summer. Let's hope Pompey can extend her contract and give her a pay rise!!
Glad Birmingham stayed down, that's a fairly local game to get to... Pretty crazy that we lost only one of our last 6 games, given how badly we started the season.
So if anyone's interested, Portsmouth won their second league game of the season last Sunday beating crystal palace 2-1. For those that are interested, all of Portsmouth's league games are live streamed on YouTube on Sundays at 14:00. Hoping to get to Birmingham v Portsmouth in a couple of weeks. Hopefully it'll be better than last year (a four nil defeat)
I caught the last 10 or so minutes on YouTube last Sunday, and saw the winning goal from Jessie Gale from a brilliantly taken free kick, and she scored a well taken goal. On loan from Arsenal Ladies I believe. Pompey do need to pick up a few more wins, to make sure they can avoid relegation end of the season.
