Hard to believe they finished with 90 points last season, two points more than we had when we won it in 2011. They still have a fair bit of that squad so to only have 9 points this season is ridiculous and our defensive frailties could be just the job to boost their confidence. They have lost their last three games just as Saints had in midweek, does our generosity know no bounds? I fear it might...

Smyth for all is faults is a terrier and I would always play/ start him ahead of Dembele. I would start Vale over Dembele away from home

Dembele is a luxury player.
Neither he nor Chair can defend.

Madsen and Varane are going to be over run.

 

Time for optimism. Pessimism in ten mins or so.

 

Just paid my tenner to the club to watch this one. Started brightly and on the front foot.
