3 at the back didn’t really work after a great start. Let them back in it and whilst we were better second half didn’t create enough maybe ? Bola was very good I thought and Pollock but not too many others unfortunately. Meanwhile well done to the 1881 for this Remembrance poppy tribute .
Sounds like a fair assessment. https://www.capitalfootball.co.uk/s...aught-thwarted-as-bristol-city-draw-the-sting
Yes, I was a bit worried just beforehand as many people had not taken their seats. Then of course during the match there was a tirade of paper planes raining down on the lower seats!
Three teams on view, the team in black were by far the poorest of them. Not the worst we've seen, but by this season's relatively high standards that was lamentable. Swap shirts after the game fellas, was my mantra during a match. Only once for each side... at most.
Ended up in 15th spot - thanks to Ipswich thumping Swansea and QPR's scoreless draw against Sheffield Utd
Watching the game I felt that we played quite well, but if we are serious for promotion these are the 1point games we need to change to 3 points! (I imagine Ipswich were saying the same on Tuesday) We were not clinical enough, and that along with some great saves by their keeper (I counted at least 3 or 4 great saves in the second half - well from the FS they seemed great) is what needs to change I agree that 3 at the back encourages us to pass side to side across the back line…this is so frustrating as we are basically negating our best players and using our least best ball players! anyway we were not helped by the ref who seemingly gave them every free kick, yet we practically had to be scythed in half before we even got a chance of him blowing his whistle..like Fez says their centre halves were practically trying to get inside K’s shirt whilst he was still in it!! Their no.10 was a snide ar$e as well anyhow - not disastrous, and hopefully we will start turning these games into 3 pts
