Not hopeful about today.... We had a potentially confidence-boosting CL performance, but we are hardly on a roll and our home PL form is abysmal. Add to that the ongoing dreadful injury situation, and a tough game against an improving and well rested United looks like a bridge too far. They have no injuries or suspension absences - no doubt partly due to their absence from Europe - and they are getting some good results although they were not great in the draw against Forest. I'd bite your hand off for a draw tbh...
Same team as Tuesday for me to try and build on the momentum, albeit Palhinha in for one of the midfielders. He and Bentancur hasn’t usually worked at home but Bentancur’s performance the other night would make it tough to drop him, plus Utd have some top attackers in Bruno, Mbeumo and Cunha so it may need both to counter them. Scarlett on over Pigeon boy when it comes to subs too, we can’t keep persisting with that waster.
I'm keeping the optimism going as I travel down on the train (that's on time). Just had a lovely bacon roll and even managed to sell my spare ticket last night. It's going to be a good day......
I'm not only a life long Tottenham fan but an old boy scout as well so always prepared for anything.....
..and obviously absolutely no issues with public transport today so got here about half a day too early.
