    Not hopeful about today....
We had a potentially confidence-boosting CL performance, but we are hardly on a roll and our home PL form is abysmal. Add to that the ongoing dreadful injury situation, and a tough game against an improving and well rested United looks like a bridge too far.
They have no injuries or suspension absences - no doubt partly due to their absence from Europe - and they are getting some good results although they were not great in the draw against Forest.

I'd bite your hand off for a draw tbh...

Same team as Tuesday for me to try and build on the momentum, albeit Palhinha in for one of the midfielders. He and Bentancur hasn’t usually worked at home but Bentancur’s performance the other night would make it tough to drop him, plus Utd have some top attackers in Bruno, Mbeumo and Cunha so it may need both to counter them.

Scarlett on over Pigeon boy when it comes to subs too, we can’t keep persisting with that waster.

I'm keeping the optimism going as I travel down on the train (that's on time). Just had a lovely bacon roll and even managed to sell my spare ticket last night.

It's going to be a good day...... :bandit:

A good start to the day, admittedly, but it might go downhill from 12.30, so be prepared! <laugh>

Interesting starting line up - Bold or stupid or a bit of both!! Having beaten them 4 times last year and not lost any of the 6 matches under Ange, along with the league form of both (particularly our home form) can only see one winner and thats not the team in white...

God I hope Richarlison proves me wrong, but if I was looking to play a support up top to RKM then I'd have gone with Scarlett.

Apparently there was a plan to attack Amad and Yoro down the United right as we expected them to line up their and of course they have picked Mazraouie and Maguire negating Richarlisons aerial threat lol...
