I still think Max needs one crazy weekend where he gets to make a big chunk of points over the other two to even get to the last race with any chance, doesn’t look like we’re getting the weather to aid that though. It absolutely threw it down in São Paulo last weekend, looks like showers only this weekend, and more likely to be wet Saturday than Sunday. For the McLaren two it doesn’t really matter who wins as long as they’re close, but Oscar has to fight with Norris I feel otherwise it starts to become too late to reverse the momentum.
What I would really like from one of the last four races , is just for something to happen in the race so we have an utterly crazy race . I suppose crazy on off rain on Sunday is the best bet , but not so heavy they start under the safety car . And a podium of ( for example ) Lewis Albion Bearman . I can dream . Oh and for F1 to announce a second tyre manufacturer for next year . A good old tyre war is what we need / deserve
There are still 120 points up for grabs before the season close. With 4 races and two sprints it is not a given who will win this championship. Last year, I think Norris had pole but I think rain messed with the result, with the Alpines ending up on the podium. If Norris is on form he should beat Oscar, Verstappen is in form though. As fans we can't complain about this season ending being predictable, it isn't...yet! I hope there are no DNFs and the racing is fair. We potentially have one of the best season endings in a long time.....there you go, I have just jinxed it...hope not.
Outside of the championship element, I wouldn’t mind a random result. Kimi winning Vegas is something I think is unlikely, but not totally unrealistic? Sainz winning in a Williams is the dream, but I can’t see a realistic route to it this year. I think there’s a fear out there that the 2026 rules will introduce a chunk of randomness anyhow, maybe just hold off on your tyre war and we’ll reassess for 2027.
Norris has been on form for a few races, hope he keeps this up but still a long way to go. I can't help thinking Carlos must be kicking himself, jumping ship for Ferrari. Disappointed for him but it was his decision.
