Drameh - thought it was one of his best games for us Ajayi - (although was Morris his man for first goal? I noticed he was closely marking him at corners after the goal) Slater
Ha! I always do this blind, and then look afterwards, so was very surprised to see the post before mine was a carbon copy (or rather vice versa as yours came first!)
Bit of a kick in the nether regions that one, but doesn't take away from some good efforts last night. 1 Drameh - thought he had a great game both defensively and going forward, certainly suited the system played last night. 2. Slater - another who was busy and gave his all, not withstanding some clever movement and passes 3. Crooks - considering he's playing with injury, the bloke put in a great shift. We'll win when we don't play as well (2nd half) and we'll lose playing better as well. But given the injuries, players playing through the pain barrier, and the restrictions of the embargo you can't argue its a hell of a lot better then most of us believed was possible. Learn from the daft mistakes and move forward.
I’ve taken a bit of time to think about this because I couldn’t make my mind up, but still can’t, so just going for: Slater Drameh Crooks with Gelhardt just missing out.
Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third. Slater 89 Drameh 49 Crooks 46 Gelhardt 44 Ajayi 16 Hughes 7 Egan 1 Pick worselves up, dust worselves down, etc. etc.
