Pasoti must be getting desperate. Couldn't find one dessenting voice on this signing. If he's fit then good one.

Belay my last post. It seems the naysayers have found their voice on there now. I still think this is a good move.

Bit of a surprise.....how come he has been clubless into November.....hopefully he will stiffen up our midfield.....sheds full of experience.....only until January at the moment.....but if he does well will he stay to the end of the season ?

How did you know what Plym was going to post before he did it Sensible? Just a wild guess I suppose.

The reason he’s been without a club is because he’s 32 Plym, as you well know. But he has bags of good quality experience. The thing that jumps out is that he played 28 games in the one season Cardiff were in the Premier League - so he wasn’t a bit player even at that level. He also played 21 games in the Championship last year, so he’s not quite finished yet.

Someone like that may be at least as useful in the dressing room with a very young squad than he is on the pitch, so it’s definitely worth a punt.

He can play at left back and that’s a position we don’t have covered. We’re set up with wing-backs and are leaking goals so a move to a traditional back 4 may be part of the solution. I mean Bali Mumba is a great player but a defender - not really.

That presupposes that Joe Edwards can stay fit enough to play at right-back of course.

There seems to be feedback from Cardiff fans through pasoti contacts.....and they're saying that in recent years he has had a few injuries.....(but not as bad as Forshaw).............also Cardiff fans are suggesting that his legs are going.

But as you say notDistant he could be quite valuable to us with his match experience in the dressing room as well as on the pitch.....and his Championship and Premiership days should help him cope with playing in Div One even if at 32yrs of age his legs are not as good as they used to be.

I hope it works out for him and us and that he stays for the whole season and that Cleverley might learn something from him......okay Cleverley has experience from a higher level but he is finding it hard to put it into practise as a manager.

Also we have recalled Joe Hatch from Taunton....it doesn't seem as if he has been given much game time there even though it is quite a lower level of football.

Tom Cleverley says Joe Ralls is days rather than weeks away from being ready for game time. He will travel with the squad to the Huddersfield today (Thursday) and train oop north on Friday : a decision whether he will be in the match day squad will be made after Friday's training.

What I didn't realise is that not only has he played a shedload of games for Cardiff but was also their captain.

    He’ll give you 100%.
He got slower and slower as the seasons passed.
Likes a backwards and sideway pass
    Takes a good corner.
Don’t trust him with a penalty though.
    Injury record not good.
He’ll have a good impact on your younger players.

We all get slower and slower as the seasons pass unfortunately!

We've got a young squad - promising but obviously inexperienced. Hopefully he'll steer them in the right direction!

I used to be a winger...........remember them. I've got so slow now it's hard to find a pulse let alone a movement. We need a steady hand and he fits the job description.

Argyle's home game against Bradford has been rearranged for Sat 6th Dec (2nd round FA Cup weekend).....because of International call-ups.

That also means we will have SIX away games on the trot.....that's some mileage between home games ?
