****ing hell either i slept a lot or the new mission impossiblde films were proper long. Only watched 2, the last 2. Really enjoyed both but the first one better than the second i think although i liked all the nostalgia they put into the 2nd. Just classic MI, always entertaining. 8/10 and 7.5/10
The Long Walk - 6.9 Solid, albeit the ending was a little “meh” and predictable. A House Of Dynamite - 6 Would’ve scored considerably higher if the ending wasn’t ****ing ****e.
Deliver me from nowhere Really good Bruce biopic about the making of the album Nebraska. The whole cast are excellent especially the lead who does a fine job singing those songs. 8/10 Down cemetery road. From the writer and creators of slow horses this new series has that same vibe. Emma Thomson and Ruth Wilson doing good things fighting governmental dark arts. 2 episodes in and I'll be sticking with it. 7.5/10
Started watching Black Rabbit on Netflix. Ok so far, well shot in NYC and a very decent cast in Jude law and Jason Bateman. Will stick with it.
Watching the original Halloween.... yes it's a bit dated now but anyone who watched it 'back in the day' will still get the willies ... that music ...
Ballad of a small player Although Colin Farrell puts in a fine performance he can't save this slow, laborious dullfest of a film. I found myself wishing it would just end. 4.5/10
Started Euphoria. Anyone seen it? Probably a tough watch if the pilot is anything to go by, but will endure it i think. No doubt @FosseFilberto would ****ing love it.
Fantastic Four. First Steps 8.2/10 With Thunderbolts and now this there's finally some direction and with Doctor Doom coming soon this could be good.
