Been checking through the results on fotmob, the teams crest are alongside the team names, and it got me thinking, are there any other teams crests or badges you quite like? Purely platonic, don't have to like the club, but, other than the lads badge, do you like any other clubs badge, be it nostalgia reasons, for example, growing up I collected football stickers, a mate of mine opened a pack one morning on the way to school before I really got into football and he had the Norwich badge in the pack on foil background and I remember thinking "well that's colourful", daft reason but it reminds me of school days. I also quite like Blackburns, red rose pops. Naturally ours is the best like. Just thought I'd ask the question.

Good thread mate, I'll post my thoughts tomorrow when the rum has worn off ...

... came back from the Everton match on Tuesday, into work then had some time off.

Just need to get sorted before setting off to Sunderland on Saturday.

There's quite a few I like, but it depends on are you talking about original badges/crests or updated/modernised ones. Some modern ones are big improvements on older designs, but there some where the older design is better than current ones (in my opinion). Some, for me are just striking and iconic, you recognise them straight away.
    Liverpool
    Spurs
    Arsenal
These have barely changed since they started wearing them. Maybe the odd tweak of a background or shape of a shield, but essentially the same.

West Ham's current badge, the crossed hammers, is similar and in recent years is more simplistic as a through back to their badge from the 50s and 60s without the castle type thing they had for years.

I've always liked the Norwich and Ipswich badges and I don't think they've changed much, so they're quite striking and identifiable. I quite like the current Sheffield Wednesday badge, but I do prefer the 70s/80s one of the owl outline. I quite like Wolves badge, pretty simplistic but striking and easily recognised.

    You've got me thinking now!

Those I don't like spring to mind tbh, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Coventry, Newcastle, etc. The Newcastle one is awful with the two half maggot half donkey creatures. They’re keen to change it but, like the stadium, seem quite inert with things.

You’ve got me thinking though …

… crests, like flags, are powerful images.

I like ones with a link to the past heritage of the area. Like Torino with their bull and Olympiakos with an ancient Olympian.

Great thread this. Makes me think of the old panini foils from the 80s.

I have a soft spot for Partick Thistle. Simplicity is best for a badge I think. Arsenal's is class.
