Read a link somewhere to the current Germany U20 manager Hannes Wolf. Pretty unspectacular to be honest. Has had a crack at being a first team manager with a couple of clubs without much success and seems more suited to youth development, but could be one of Spors’ boys? Hope not

It wasn’t so much the formation, but the instructions to the players. If they’d have sat back any deeper, they'd have been in the crowd behind the goal. If it were only five or ten minutes, fine. But it was the majority of the second half after scoring.
Honestly anyone expecting anything other than an experimental appointment is probably reaching. Every single appointment so far has been experimental or finding a new rising star, hiring the German U20 coach is probably the exact thing I'd expect these dumb ****s to do.
