Elanga is atrocious... Barnes did ok on theft and Murphy always like this but he pops up with a goal or assist out of nowhere in games... Gordon injured from the start I think.

 

Elanga was another player we didn’t need to buy. We needed creativity and we bought just another Murphy or Almiron. He’ll have a spell, but ultimately a **** purchase much like Barnes.

 

Maximin was a far superior player

 

If we had a prime st max with player like Bruno, Tonali, Tino, etc he’d have been a ****ing world beater. Howes desperate need for industry above talent will be his undoing.

 

If this post had been made before the match I would have pointed out the irony of saying Burn and Joelinton should never have started....but weirdly the post was made at half time when Burn had already scored.

Did you see the teams he had to play in? I’d rather watch him try something than see Gordon give it away 27 times. Our balance is just off.

I would just like to point out that we have won tonight, making it 3 wins out of 4 in the Champions League, and right now people are wanting Gordon out of the team and wishing Allan Saint-Maximin was back.

Elanga is somehow a worse purchase than Barnes. Hes dreadful. Barnes at least has 1 in 5 where he does something but Elanga is a downgrade on Almiron.

 

Just need to eke out a win at Brentford and get to the international break. Hopefully then Wissa, Hall and Tino are back in the squad. Great to see Hall get 30 mins and looks a breathe of fresh air with his ball carrying skills!

Win at Brentford and we have improved our position each time since the last international break. Its not all doom and gloom lads but I understand the concerns as our play is very much laboured at the moment.
