Exactly this, everything we do is obvious, ponderous, and identical to what we’ve been doing for two years now. PL clubs have quality and have our number, our only saving grace in Europe is the gulf in squad quality.

We're playing and passing poorly. But Athletic have had just the one shot that had beaten Pope. We do have reasons to be concerned as we cant get going. Barnes on the left and Murphy on the right will be better in the second half.
All they are doing is high line to make it congested in midfield where they are pressing hard. So we continue to try and play it through midfield. Utter ****in madness. Stretch the play ffs, creates space everywhere. Surely we must have known this is how they play? I can't imagine they've just decided to play this way tonight.
