Now that Frenchie's not with us. I think we need a new group moderator?
What are your thoughts? I think we need one at the least to liase with the owner and also they have some extra oversight that regular members don't have.
I don't want to do it myself

Do we need one? We seem to all get along fine.

I don't think many people would want to put themselves forward to be honest.

Do we have a moderator currently?
What do they have to do?

    It was Frenchie

He could exclude people and delete offensive posts
    Change thread titles
Liaise with the owner and get updates etc
    Post stickys

    etc

    There will be more

I certainly agree that in the long term we need one. I'm not actually sure what the full range of a mods powers or responsibilities are - or even how to go about becoming one. On the whole we can regulate ourselves on here unless another Superhorns turns up suddenly. The only contact I have had with mods has been to have predictions league threads stickied or unstickied (not sure if these words have arrived in the Concise Oxford yet !). So if i said yes I'll do it I would be completely in the dark as to what I was letting myself in for - similar to many on here I imagine. Also I am not what you might call a digital native - and don't want to be one. This last is added to the fact that I am generally reducing my time spent online in order to sleep better and give my eyes a bit of a rest (and I know mods are expected to read all posts on here). The long and the short of it is that I will do it as a last desparate solution if nobody else steps in (although I have no idea who to contact in that eventuality).
