What a great run from Run to Fly - glad it wasn't Hurricane Mighty Monty in the 3.05 - hopeful ew bet at 12's Cheers Red
On Our Father at 4/1 last night so laid it off for a guaranteed profit. He's very strong in the market so could well bolt up. Sir Du Bearn for Nicholls and Walsh is a huge drifter. He was 2nd favourite yesterday but now s big as 25/1.
Well thats me done for the day from a horse racing point of view... Off to work to look after the xmas drunkards... Oh joy...
There was a ton of money for him but he left it very late to peg back Shoreacres. And Shoreacres ran a blinder, pounds better than any recent run, slipped the field and almost hung on Thats me done too - don't do bumpers, Irish, South African, Chinese etc etc
Last at Uttoxeter a toss-up, but will have a bit on The Mumper for in-form Alan King yard...........................
It was impressive because he picked up Shoreacres relatively easily and nothing else got anywhere near him. Interesting to see what the handicapper does, and what the Pipe team do in response. He looks on a sharp upward curve so wouldn't be surprised to see him out again soon if the handicapper whacks him up.
deciding to place the bet was a better shout than the bet itself if that's possible. I dunno tbh, it was very flawed logic. Was down to a tenner left in my Fred account and after yesterday, where I didn't back a couple of winners that I'd originally planned to, I just thought stuff it - not allowing that to happen again. Spur of the moment stuff haha. It'll either go on Xmas presents for the family or weekend beer tokens. I guess it depends on what comes first, Christmas or this weekend
Well done Zen on Our Father! those bloody Pipe handicappers! Happy with 3rd for Shuil Royale, might be a nice handicap for him somewhere.
