All but safe now....tho could be utterly academic as Hants have absolutely collapsed against Surrey and look like losing tomorrow morning

Yorkshire did well considering 3 top order batters got 8 between them.

Done well to turn it around after a poor start up to around June/July. Plenty to build on and improvements to make, but I'm happy with the season overall, another dreadful T20 season apart.

one day cup was a highlight, we should have won it but blew the semi. Blast we're always dog ****, our overseas picks were an absolute ****ing joke. Hard to make much of the county championship, a season dominated by draws all round, 4 rounds with the pointless kookaburra ball, 3 rounds in September, 2 of which were a non surprising wash out. No consistency to anyone's team selections as it's played in random intervals of the summer. Stayed up tho which we'd take start of the season, losing Milnes and Thommo for next year tho, important roles to fill

twitchy arseholes in that Durham dressing room, batting inexplicably slowly, another wicket or 2 and they're in deep **** here

No great lover of Durham. Right chips on their shoulders when it comes to us so quite happy to send them down.

well, that's a surprising end to the season. hampshire mightily relieved. durham went from 57-2 to 83 all out to give us an innings win and make hampshire very happy. we only needed a draw and after hampshire's defeat, so did durham.

Semifinal between Aus/India women could be a cracking finish, India need 55 off 42 with 6 wickets in hand.

India win, chasing 339, do it with 10 balls to spare. Great stuff and to win against Aus is added bonus!

It was. We've seen 3 of the best innings we could have hoped for in these semis from Wolvaardt, Lichfield and Jemimah. The Jemimah one was especially sweet because it put Aus out when they probably thought a win was nailed on :emoticon-0130-devil

Aus have announced their squad for the first test, only one player under the age of 30.....they'll prob still win but that is an incredibly rare thing to see in cricket nowadays, and with Cummins struggling with a back injury already and the other pace bowlers mid 30s.......it could open the door across a 5 test series. I reckon this is Australia's weakest test team we'll have played away from home in a while but I just don't know if we have the game and patience to win the ashes back

    Inflexible Bazball - we lose.

Pragmatic Bazball - we stand a chance.

Note to Captain: don’t declare your first innings when you have the world’s number one test batsmen going like a steam train.
