There must be an irony somewhere in the fact Barton's (****) case involves him using the Fred and Rose West analogy, and Jeremy Vine (****) called Alex Belfield (****) the Jimmy Savile of trolling.
Nixon has now started deleting tweets, he claimed that the pie person is called Lewis and a solicitor has pointed out that he hasn't got a leg to stand on given previous tweets he's made. It's going nowhere.
I dont understand how a defence against the libel is claimed to be what the wronged party has tweeted - unless it actually was supporting the libeller's claim.
