Let’s be positive, we were the better team with half our first team out, and it’s one defeat in 7, it’s not going to define our season.

Lets hope that was Pandur’s rock bottom, he had not one but three major mistakes in that game, hopefully he can find his form from last season because right now he’s a shadow of that player.

A point thrown away by a horrendous defensive mistake when we were totally on top and Derby looked out on there feet.
Positives? great second half performance when we had the divisions form team on the rack despite us having to scratch around to pick a team because of injuries.
So a far better performance than many of us expected and a cruel defeat as I also thought Derby's first goal was a clear foul.
    That's football.

So how about all those forward players who didn't manage to kick the ball into the derby goal. Was the one who hit the bar a knob head for not kicking it a bit lower.
Keepers can let one in and they are rubbish, half a dozen forwards can try and try and try and fail to score and that's just unlucky.

**** happens, we're still gonna win the league.

I appreciate players maybe tired , and serg gets a lot of praise for changing things when it goes right . But I was concerned when Joseph and Geldhardt went off , I’m not a fan of protecting what you have and leaving next to nothing on the pitch if it goes wrong . Made similar subs against Sheff Utd , I remember thinking the same when they got the penalty and luckily we got away with it that day . I suppose it’s the price we are paying for injuries and not having much real quality on the bench so not slagging him off , just felt we had no real way back into that game after Derby scored

    Agreed

Soon as we took those two off

    We had nothing going forward
Surely they could have managed another 10?

Maybe its injury risk zone though

Agree, but Gelhardt and Joseph are likely absolutely knackered, if they had nothing left in the tank we don't want them getting injured as well!

Ajayi won't make that mistake again. Granted, it was completely Pandur's fault, but at the same time it could have just been dealt with. I'm viewing it as karma for carrying the ball out of the box earlier, which he got away with.

Another blip from a corner (which I thought was a foul on Ajayi to be honest) and whatever the hell happened for their second has cost us tonight, but I'm not complaining much. **** happens, and despite the fairly decimated squad we're still playing really well and we're still scoring goals.

I thought most of them played well overall, nobody I can criticise too heavily. Felt sorry for Destan and Akintola as they'd come on moments before they all lost their heads for 15 minutes.

I haven't played a competitive match for 20 years but I'd back myself to take control of that situation

Both things can be true, Chazz. If Morris doesn’t use both hands to push himself off Ajayi’s back, he doesn’t get that momentum and jump that high. It’s why it’s a foul because it gives an unfair advantage. Ajayi shouldn’t turn his back on Morris though.

And do what? You haven't answered the question. When your keeper charges out of the box you leave it for them.

Still feel we need to actually see him play more than 15 mins in order to judge him.

In that situation, Ajayi’s options are to kick it out for a throw-in in our half, which would make him look like a tit because Pandur rushed out to claim it, or listen to Pandur and trust he clears it upfield and out of our half. He picked the second option and Pandur ****ed it.

I'm not claiming Pandur covered himself in glory but you've got to do your job as a defender there.

It’s probably 80 Pandur 20 Ajayi, Pandur was majorly at fault for that but Ajayi isn’t blameless.

The first goal was definitely a foul, not even a debate to be had there.

Ref had a poor game all round I thought.
