I just don't know which way a decision is going these days, but I wouldn't be happy if it was given against my team.
Seen those given against Everton this season and last. so was a little shocked that it wasn’t given, maybe UEFA have different criteria or just better officials.
in europe hits your arm in the box and it is normally given as "handball" even though it isn't really having said that i struggle to see what he saw on that screen they look at which is different to what he actually saw .
It’s a bit dumb that different leagues have a different interpretation of the handball laws. Romanian ref so maybe it’s not a handball in Romania. **** knows. All will be fine when FIFA listen to my campaign to make most of these nonsense handball penalties indirect free kicks instead.
I think he originally saw it as a freekick, but as it was inside the box that made it a penalty - I can only think in his mind he thought a penalty would be harsh, but emotions shoudn't come into it he should be adhering to the rules, but I'm sure the 'conversation' with the VAR team inflicted the art of persuation. I've seen them given for that which is what PJ mentioned above, old days I would have said anything hits your hand/arm it's a penalty, but I've mellowed on that because I can see how it would be harsh and it would have been harsh, suppose that means I'm going soft with age.
wtf was Vinícius Júnior doing, I know it was a mismatch against Virgil but ****ing hell, you can't let your man go like that.
A sub. I would say it helps us going there on Saturday if this bloke has to play but we’ll have one weak shot on target at 2-0.
