Thought we were doing ok in a rearguard action sort of way, but they've scored. Gelhardt, Drameh and Ndala have all been a bit toothless, careless with the ball. Let's see what second half brings.
Nothing much between the 2 sides IMO, I just get the feeling if we can up the tempo slightly we can get at them.

We've done brilliantly without McBurnie, Belloumi and Millar upfront, plugged manfully by Gelhardt on his own, but it always felt like this would be a game too far. Hope I'm proved wrong.
How do we improve? We're playing 3 at the back in order to get the wing backs forward. Not happening. 2 maraudering wide men. Neither maraudering. Midfield players bursting forward to create the extra man? No bursting apparent. Target man through the middle. Not being a target and not in the middle.
He might need to go 4 at the back and try to go through them a bit more with an extra midfielder. 5 was probably to try and contain their front 3 which largely worked - goal was a set piece and Ajayi was out muscled. Derby are a decent side.
I would put Gelhardt through the middle, KJ out left for a short while see how it goes, then swap Akintola for Ndala and put him on the right. We are limited.
Tbh do t think we've done that bad, got outmuscled for the goal, and Jospeh getting bullied up front, can see us getting back into it though, or at least hope. In Serj we trust.
5 of the top 7 losing at half time. Including Coventry, who are on the way to losing back-to-back games. Something they did 5 times last season - go on a winning run then lose 2 in a row.
Weve not played bad perse Just lacking that bit of quality from the injured players No lack of effort, just cant really create anything Proper old style championship game
