It's obvious to say but Morris worries me a bit today. He's the kind of striker we always struggle against, and he really bullied Hughes in our home game v Luton last season.
Good turnout. The weather tonight Is grim, to say the least. Torrential rain belting down here at Pride Park as the players warm up out in front of us. City's 1,800 or travelling support beginning to gather over in the far corner
Tonight's game Is the Rams' annual remembrance fixture so before the game, we will have the Last Post and a minute's silence.
I expected that too, but Ndala did look exciting the first few games so we'll see what he's got tonight!
Where’s Williams? Keeps getting talked about him playing in the u21s to get him into the match day squad but not on the bench again.
Perfectly observed City owner Acun Ilicali laid a wreath along with Rams owner David Clowes before the silence which was perfectly observed.
Not sure how many times it needs to be said he’s part of the u23’s team before people stop asking where he is. There’s quite a few in that team deserving of a first team opportunity ahead of him right now. Ultimately if he’s good enough and his mind is in the right place he will get his chance eventually but he will have to be patient. Can see him going out on loan in Jan to get some first team minutes under his belt. Not a dig at you btw.
That touch from Joseph was absolutely diabolical for a professional footballer but it almost became a fantastic assist
