Went to the new museum last year it’s been partially open for 2 years. It’s definitely worth a look. Carter was something of a wide boy selling exclusives to the Times and taking backhanders from the Egyptians officials. Word is he went into tuts chamber before his Lordship turned up and pocketed a few necklaces. Recommend three days in Cairo tho. The pyramids are in better shape than most of the housing.
