Sure he got a ban for something daft. Shame, one of the few on here who told it how it was - good or bad.

Aye that's my actual problem with it, I had to watch it a fair few times to notice it but they didn't even give the ref the chance to watch it on the monitor - do I think the decision should have changed probably not, but the ref literally didn't even get all the information.

IMO is that referees don't give blatant fouls to newly promoted teams

He's bound to pick them up. Mind he was clearly fouled before his booking. Nothing nasty but a blatant trip.

This lad is going to the top mind. Some player already.

    Is Adringa not injured?

He is different though. He's a real dribbler and has shown he can handle this league. Plenty of time. Really, they've all just got here!

Just sat down to watch the full 90 minutes.

Apart from the first minute snap shot, Sunderland were the better team until Everton scored.

This idea they ran the game for the first thirty minutes isn't correct.

Still think they shaded it before the goal but it was close, after their goal we lost pir heads a bit and I think part of it was the ref letting so much slide from them niggly little trips and ****.

Nah I disagree. We were terrible mate. Nothing to do with how Everton played. Everyone on the team gave the ball away multiple times. It clicked after half an hour and suddenly we were streets ahead of Everton.

    They weren’t much better mind

Yep, early doors we were ****e. Nothing wrong with saying that, it’s just how it was. Everton should’ve had the game won.

1 win in 8 (all competitions) for Everton. They’re desperate for a new centre forward who’s ready for the PL now, not a project like Barry.

Agreed. They did win too many midfield tussles though I thought, maybe our five at the back contributed to this a bit, or maybe because Everton, in a way I've seen them try this season before - and very unlike Moyes' previous teams - attempted to really close down early on and put loads of effort in to get control. In the three games I've watched them, they've tried this and tired badly each time. Maybe I suppose if they had a functioning centre forward they would have went two up.

So, this frantic running around just doesn't really suit them IMO, even if it might have wobbled us a bit. I don't think they have the players and they didn't look fit enough. Maybe Moyes read about this new fangled tactic in SHOOT! or whatever there is out there now.

I was watching on the telly last night, and you could see from some of the close ups that they were running on fumes in the second half. Once we got a bit of a midfield grip, there was only one team in it.

They have blew some mental cash on poor forwards in the last few years mind. They blew £30m on Keane over six years ago. Others too, it's like they do a blind dip into a bag of expensive gash forwards, though Keane does look a player now.

Moise Kean? Quality player these days, just a bairn when he first signed for Everton. He’d be great there now…
