Back to back wins and we’re climbing up the table. Win our game in hand at Blackburn and we’re sitting in fifth. Glad to see signs of progress and we’re well placed tomorrow night hosting a Watford side that has been poor away from home.

Walton’s made a couple of errors but seems to be calm on the ball and playing well. He’s benefitting from a much improved defence where Furlong and Kipre are keeping out the likes of Johnson, Young, and Greaves. A steadier defence is something we’ve not been used to under McKenna, but definitely signs there we’ve got a strong foundation at the back.

Midfield looked like an area of strength, but arguably it’s stronger than ever with Jack Taylor’s stand out recent form and Nunez now chipping in with goals. Talking of Nunez, playing him at 10 might be the long term solution for more creativity in open play.

The likes of Philogene and Jack Clarke have had good starts. Egeli looks like he’s adapting to English football and got an assist at QPR. Jury is still out on players like McAteer - but we look like a side that has goals in us. And Hirst responded brilliantly to warranted criticism with his two goals on the weekend and hopefully can keep the form going against Watford.

I’m hoping for minimal changes - if needed - rather than McKenna’s wholesale seven-plus changes for a midweek game. Watford at home looks easier than a trip to Swansea, but hopefully some erratic mid-week performances means McKenna will stick with a starting eleven tomorrow night.

I can’t see too many issues against Watford. Comfortable 3-0 Town win.

100% agree Nuggets, the less changes the better.

    3-1 Town win.

I think there will be some changes, and we'll be reminded that it's a squad game. I suspect Cajuste and Young will be back in the starting 11.
But still should have enough about us to get away with it
    1-0 win

2-3 Watford are decent and will be too good for us

Watford are a strange team. On home form, they top the table by a clear two points and only one defeat.

Away from home they’re rock bottom with only two points all season. Three points behind … us!

They're a strange team full stop.
I put them in the same bracket as Stoke.
Have the potential to get top 6, but boring mediocre midtable every year

Think they'll stifle us, and our lack of firepower will prove to be decisive...0-0 draw

Nunez and Taylor are subs, while Davis out injured. Lets hope Cajuste and Akpom do the business.

I’d sort of given up trying to predict the unpredictable but here goes anyway.

    3-0 Town.

Ironic we get a free kick from same spot that Nunez scored last game.

Really poor defending down our right hand side. Really bad attempt from O’Shea to cut out the cross. Walton positioning all over the shop.

Sloppy, sloppy, and sloppy. 1-0 down.

Big response and a great combination goal for 1-1. Kipre head up and plays a brilliantly weighed through ball for Philogene to finish smartly in the far corner.

    That’s more like it Town.
