Davies, Takai and Gray all missed the Chelsea game and Tel is not in the CL squad.
Bergvall will be unavailable due to the concussion protocol, while Kudus and Spence picked up knocks.
Neither side has any suspensions.

It appears we have twice as many injuries as any other PL team. Just unlucky? Hangover from Ange?

Bi-monthly international breaks are kicking us in the nards

 

I'm not going to blame Postecoglou, but some of them are still injured from his time with us.
Maddison, Dragusin and Kulusevski in particular.
Some of it is just poor management of injuries, though. Solanke's, for example.

 

Looking forward to seeing one of Bentancur or Palhinha dropped with a midfield more biased to attacking.

That supporting trio for Kolo… painful.

 

It doesn’t scream CL level, does it. This is where I have some sympathy for Frank - the squad remains sub-par and there’s clearly still work to do to mould it to his needs and up the quality in certain positions. He’s also hamstrung with injuries in key positions.

There’s plenty to pick Frank up on as well but he’s having to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear right now. Having Maddison and Kulusevski available would change the outlook completely.

 

Bench looks interesting! We have no regular midfielders to spare!
