The big FARKE question has to be framed in two parts. We know there are not many managers who can build a team in the championship and dominate the league and earn promotion like DF. So given we seem to have spent £100m+ without adding firepower is it Farkes fault or the owners? So the best way is to think how DF would perform in this league if he had another £50m to spend. Would his tactics work in the prem like they do in the championship. So would he get results? You can then say yes so it’s quality of player or no which means it’s the manager…..
With brother Eire as my realism guru i have one foot already in the championship. Many more will come over to the dark side and see the real truth of the 49ers. They are lining us up to be sold with or without the stadium plans taking place. Anyone who thinks they are going to heavily invest without selling are deluded.
Sorry, I should have been clearer. As I doubt his wages will be anywhere near comparable to what he would earn in English football, I can’t see any compensation being exorbitant even if we were to pay up his contract.
