I'll take that, we weren't at our best and had to come from a goal down. Should have had a penalty mind, no idea how you justify that arm position as natural.

Draw fair enough on balance though.

 

The top 4 all play each other, on Saturday that includes us.

Shocking performance from the ref and VAR. seems it’s not fit for purpose neither was the ref.

 

For me, the handball is a pen, unless he was just shaking hands with the ball? Got away with a lot did Everton, but I'm of the opinion they do get looked after. "draw is a fair result" boils my piss from the comms teams. Anyway, more numbers in the right column so I'm happy with that.

 

We are comfortably better than Everton mind. There’s no way we go down. Saturday will be a good test

 

Xhaka is next level, absolute Rolls Royce and I expect him to show up again on Saturday.

 

strange but good game that (from all the players) but ruined by the worst ref i have seen so far in the premier.

sadiki, no complaints about the yellow but it really messed the side up for a while, no one knows why nordi got carded but that added to the teams drop off.

not read through the thread yet so apologies if i run over anything already talked to death but here goes.

pickford, still the best for england, no contest.

so many ref calls i did not agree with although i was 'with him' on all the hand ball cries until 'that one', i hope someone can explain to me how that was not given as a penalty, both hands waved around his side and stopped the flight and direction of the ball, next was the kick to nordis face, now i can see why it was not given due to nordi ducking down for the ball but when VAR came back with 'the contact was with his shoulder' i nearly kicked my telly (maybe more replays might convince me but i doubt it) we also saw big dan being manhandled by at least two defenders and nowt given, then the ref making sure nordi took a throw in from an exact place yet not even watching evertons throw ins and the one he insisted went back a few yards the player simply ran much further forward before throwing it, we also saw a great tackle from brobbey (from behind) being given as a free kick to them, a few minutes later we saw an almost exact same tackle by one of thiers and he allowed it.

feck it...wont change a thing now but i had to rant that off my chest.

traore will have won himself a few fans tonight, very good game, i was surprised at the way everton came on to us at first and i feared the worst but both sides missed chances and i feel it was a good contest, a few fouls thrown around but nowt nasty, 2nd half was pretty much all us but they held onto some luck and we did not take our main chances.

my MotM has to be granit, i watched him after those early minutes when the entire side seemed to lose it and you could see him calming them down, once they pulled themselves back together the lads got the game together and everton were very limited after that.

personally, i have given up on saturday, another 'on the telly' and against the in side right now...damage limitation is what i am hoping but who knows with this sqaud.

 

I’d like him to get carded on Saturday. Then preferably pick up another in the few games after that so he’s not running the risk of missing the mags game!

 

Shocking decision by VAR in that pen like. I'll forgive a ref not giving it in real time but VAR watching it back and thinking those hands were in a natural decision is a ****ing disgrace.

Could have won it how well played in first half but in reality we didn't make many clear opportunities they missed an absolute sitter in the first. So in reality happy with a draw!

Some team we have the pleasure of watching these days. Very slow start this week like!

Not sure how much the wind was a factor today but first half we struggled to keep the ball and second they couldn’t get it off us. The ref was a bit random. Couldn’t see the handball shouts from the far end but we had a lot of balls into thr box. Ultimately disappointed we didn’t win that and pre season I might have been content with a draw.
