I've seen city play at the Baseball Ground, but can't remember anything about it. I may have been tired and emotional.

I saw us lose 3-1 there in October ‘84, I remember it being the loudest and most intimidating atmosphere I ever experienced. After the game my missus nearly got trampled by police horses, bloody coppers treated everyone as a hooligan back then and the riders just kept shouting move move even when we had nowhere to go.

One of their lads on the Derby board reckons we'll be an easier game than Sheff Utd and that we'll probably be relegated as we're in a false position. Okaaay.

Keep the doubters coming. Hopefully their team think the same.

That was a crazy day. It seemed that both the police and Derby fans were all after a scrap and it became a proper free for all. I know I should have been nicked that day and alot of others were the same. We all got caught up in the madness even though we weren't looking for it but couldn't get away from it.

All ticket games are another thing that prevents people getting to matches.

I went there in about 67, one of my first away games. Went on the Special....City went two up by h/t, Derby came back to 2-2, but City, maybe Waggy, got a winner with about five to go. The BBG was a right throwback. A right tight ground with say a dozen rows of terracing in front of quite tall stands at both ends. One the best games I witnessed at BP was a midweek City vs Derby in old L2, Derby were top under Clough and Taylor, City weren't too far behind maybe 6th or 7th. City won 1-0. I can't recall scorer....Derby went on to win the title at a canter, City fell away after a promising start. Where have you heard that before?

Your right the Leeds vs Sunderland was a classic. Had everything. Even an old lady coming on the pitch and handbagging the ref.

One of my favourite things about supporting City is that everyone thinks we're ****. Doesn't matter what league we're in, where we are in the table, what run of form we're on, who's playing, we're **** and we're gonna lose. And when we win it really pisses opposition fans off and that makes it extra special. The number of managers sacked after losing to 'little old Hull' is hilarious to me. I love it.

True although I did enjoy our "big fish, sleeping giant" days when everyone respected us and wanted to beat us, and mostly failed, underTaylor in Div 3
