Frankly we need someone who can invoke the spirit of Brian Clough- step forward Clinton Baptiste

Meetup pre Wednesday game next week? :bandit:

That's gonna be awkward when he's your son in law in 20 years time.

I suppose it depends whether you think the toxic nature of the club is salvageable doing that way or whether a complete tear down and rebuild would work better.

Doesn’t sound extreme to me. Sounds like exactly what needs to happen.

If SR bring back Bozo Martin, they really don’t give a **** about the supporters.

If the SR cowards only acted so quickly 'relatively for them' because the fans have turned their anger at them, then replacing Still with Martin would be as clueless an appointment as they could possibly make. The anti-SR volume would just get turned up another 50% and crowd numbers at St.Marys would plummet much quicker then they already are. Surely even SR aren't that out of touch.

They're now reporting we're interested in Rodgers. Such a clickbait source.

This. I can't see them being that out of touch to take such another massive risk. RM would be on the back foot from minute 1 and I can foresee the stands being toxic from the off. They doesn't work for anyone.

Managers come here to fail. Don’t even hold much hope of next one being better. All my optimism has drained away. However, Saints fans have been forged in the fire of despair….

I’ll be back to blind optimism come Wednesday <diva>

Forest (a), Villa (h), Man City (a), Chelsea (h), Liverpool (h) are Leeds' next five games. It's not unreasonable to think that he gets sacked within the next five weeks.

But can we afford to wait that long? Possibly not.

Warnock for me. He's exactly the 'year zero' kind of appointment to break the cycle of **** before it's too late.

While Warnock may well be the type of character we need in the dugout he hasn't managed for quite a while now and it didn't go very well the last time he was in the dugout. So it's a massive no from me.

We need someone ruthless enough to get rid of the negative influences, not someone who will come in and reward them.

Warnock's also only a few weeks off 77 so I very much doubt it'll be him.
