I said yesterday I think he deserved a red and It was reckless.

I’m arguing against the narrative it malicious.

I don’t think he deliberately tried to injure or kick out at Butters .

I think he’s probably not an intelligent footballer - a striker probably wouldn’t have tried any follow up

I’ll concede that if it was Soutar on Kasper - exact same scenario- I’d be saying same things as rangers fans tbh

It's hard to envisage why he's turned back into Buttbleed after he's gathered the ball, if it were not hit him with his foot.

I still play football at least 4 times a week and I'm watching it, JB has the ball, he's stationary, Trusty sees it, he turns to the left, then spins back towards JB with his foot open, and kicks him on the head... it's all preventable in its entirety, its not a 'coming together', he's made a choice to change direction and open his foot towards buttplug, the consequance being to hit him on the head.

If it weren't deliberate, then what is the thought process? He thought Butlands head was the ball?

As above , he’s probably not intelligent- football wise - and a striker wouldn’t have done same thing .

I can’t guess what he was thinking really other than it’s him thinking butters might spill ball.

I don’t think he tried to hurt butterfingers just a ‘brain fart’. A pressure reflex - like the livi player last week that elbowed the ball for some mental reason .

Imo , no malicious intent but reckless . Like Arseguard .

Aasgaard had zero intention to do anything other than control the ball, which was under his loose possession at the time, and Ralston ran into him after Aasmunch attempted to control the ball at groin height - 100% zero intention.

Its completely different to Trusty's decision making - maybe he did think Butters has spilled the ball but how he's think that given how close he was to him is just baffling.

It was "so clear" the Butter fingers had the ball a second Celtic player was attempting the get the ball when Trusty was a yard past the GK.

    Mental

I don’t disagree that Arsetomouth had no intent but it was reckless and deserved a red

And agree , it is different from Trustissues .

One had thought on trying to control ball and getting forward .

One had a ‘get ball’ thought and didn’t think it through.

Both clumsy , reckless but Trustfall was less controlled than Arseblock . Hes a basic player . I’d even say CCV doesn’t make that attempt as he has a better footballing brain.

    Both reds.

Aasblast red - harsh but that's modern football
TrustTheScience - 100% red and been a red since forever, you cant kick an opponent on the head unless his head is the size of mons where it's almost impossible not to kick it.

Yeah , foot raised / studs forward . Always going to be a red .

And agreed , you can’t kick the head/face - irrespective of intent etc- and not expect a red card. . Especially now, in VAR days

    trusty didnt actually kick anyone

brain fart moved his foot very slowly in the direction of butters, but no force, no intent, and most importantly, no contact

why are they acting like the cornhole incident didnt take place? confirmation bias is wild

You'd think so but Hart was also kicked in the head by a St Mirren player in 2024 and the on field decision was a yellow (upgraded to red) so its not automatically a red.

Also why do people want to kick Hart so much?

Tims really are the worstest fans in the world. They will say anything, even when there's conclusive evidence to prove them wrong, to defend the indefensible shìte that happens at their club and during their games.

Even want you think might be of a quite sensible ilk turn into raving lunatics.

We all saw Trusty deliberately kick Butland on the head. It's an incontrovertible FACT! No ifs not buts it happened in real time and in the real world. Just not in the fantasy land that Tims live in.
