All, I thought it appropriate to send what will probably be my last post on this site for clarity over a few things. Firstly I’ve enjoyed being a part of this site and have appreciated the exchanges of views even when we have not agreed. It was a step up from ITTV at the time. However over the past two to three weeks I’ve felt the mood of the site has significantly shifted and I have found myself no longer enjoying it. It’s for this reason that I am taking a step back rather than fleeing or p*sing my pants as one of you less than eloquently suggested. I stand by my view that Lardi has been subjected to bullying and it has been ghastly to watch. Starting a thread “Is Lardiman the worst moderator in forum history” and the posts that followed within it is testament to this. Justifying this by “I was one of the original group that set the forum up” is nothing more than entitled BS. I also stand by my view that racism has been demonstrated by two prominent posters. Examples of this, and these are not the sole ones, include the fixation of repeatedly calling out Elliot and his diversity agenda, the questioning of support to the Jamaicans after Hurricane Melissa hit - btw Leaburn has Jamaican heritage - grandparents plus cousins out there etc. Elf one for you directly - I think it is also a bit dubious referring to a guy as a gorilla. Makes me wonder if he was a big oafe or just a black guy. I’m sure others will see things differently, will try to spin it or revert back to gaslighting which has also been in play at times, but the bottom line is for all the reasons I’ve given this place ceased to be enjoyable for me.
Sorry to hear that @Watameire you have been a good poster who will be missed. TBF, you have mixed it with the best of us in terms of dishing out unwarranted insults, and whether you like it or not the context of the Lardi situation was based in me being on here a long time, inviting Lardi to join, and then trying over a long period of time to try unsuccessfully to get him to change his ways. You’ve also contributed regularly to the most divisive thread (politics) & mixed it with Elfs. All we have in common is our support for CAFC, we should not be discussing other things on here.

Hope to see you back. A lot of stuff has totally passed me by because I don't open threads I don't like the look of. There is a match tomorrow, and if we lose another defender we could be in trouble so plenty to talk about. Maybe you could just do the prediction thread?
