Didn't mean to raise it again, with my roller-coaster review just now.

I dont think this place needs to much control with limiting where and what to post etc, I do also realise im hardly around so my 2 cents might be as useful as tits on a bull.

The lad who left, needs to harden up. Crikey, next to nothing was said and he has taken his bat and ball and pissed his pants on the way home.....

There will only be one rule by Wednesday, and that will depend on the outcome of the political content poll.

This was a friendly forum once, but sadly that is slipping away.
It may be impossible to restore those days given the way life is changing, but that won't stop me trying.

Not606 Charlton should be a place where any fan - regardless of their social status or views on politics - can feel welcome to enjoy a bit of spare time chatting about the Club they love. I don't want it to become like ITTV, where many members feel afraid to say things, while an elite few enjoy throwing their weight around. A place where you have to argue, bully and 'man-up' just to avoid ridicule and being picked on as a perceived weakling.

The next moderator here may take a different view. Until the end of my time looking after the forum this is my view.

Let us not forget that @Watameire accused two posters of being racist. Instead of backing up that claim or apologising he has walked away.

Relatively safe - although my son was attacked 3 years ago and left with 90 stitches in face and head wounds - the perpetrators are banged up for a few more years thank fuke ! Asylum hotels and HMO’s are popping up all over the place so who knows how safe you are anymore

    Wow outrageous.

I want to be able to hear the conversations that were had between the decision makers when they decided to put these things in place. What was or is the long game and end result ? What did they think would happen

Long game is they’re put into this kind of accommodation free of charge , fed, clothed medical and dental checks , an allowance etc etc - whilst they wait for asylum to be granted, and all of the above carries on after it’s granted - No wonder they skip through all the other SAFE countries to get here :headbang:

Watameire wrongly accused posters of racism, couldn’t back it up because it was untrue, and then lumped us in with far right people,

Now that you’ve lost your main supporter @lardiman the time is even more right - for the good of this forum - for you to step aside.

We don’t want to keep going round in circles.

There is far too much non Charlton & non football rubbish on here and I know @Dick Plumb1 agrees.

At the very minimum I want you to share Moderating with Dicky from now on, and after one month let’s get the whole membership to vote on how it’s gone.

You say this was a friendly forum but that didn’t stop you rubbishing me when I wasn’t posting on this forum.

Had you left? Or just stopped posting.
I don't recall the rubbishing in question.

It's a bit like @Smudger603 and me, mountains and mole hills.
