I'd rather him get fit here and get used to Sergej and settle in. A perfect opportunity for a foreign player to get settled without being needed every game.

Allows him to learn the language too.

I also think Destan looks pretty lively. He's never had any great minutes without us playing on the break or sitting really deep.

He was positive away at Birmingham making some great runs, just never got found really.

He’s played about 90 minutes in 9 appearances; usually coming on for the last ten minutes when we are trying to hold on to a win or a draw. As you say he’s played short periods of time in a team mainly content to sit deep and defend.

He hasn’t looked great shakes but he’s hardly been afforded the opportunity to showcase himself.

He’s not starting, other than the cup game against Grimsby, but he’s played in their last four games.

Think he was only starting at wing back due to injuries, though seemed to do well there.

Yeah he basically played all of last season there because Henry was injured. Played well.

....Off the bench.....Unless he's nursing a knock, I'd predict it won't be too long before he's not in the matchday squad, but I've been wrong before.

That's aged me Ernie. I don't know what's shocked me more. The spark off the Nylon sheets, or the boat of one Alan 'Fluff', 'good evening pop pickers,' Freeman.

They'd never allow him to be called 'fluff' nowadays... they'd block the M25...

    seeing the highlights again

hughes attempts to be an action man gives away so many chances

when seargent missed the open goal from 2 yards, it came about becasue hughes tried running out with the ball, got tackled, and then hes nowhere near the box when the ball comes in
