Is this alright @lardiman calling posters on here racist? You are totally out of order @Watermeire I think you need to apologise. That was a step too far.
I know feelings are running high, but @Watameire could you please not call Elfs and Royston racists. Terms like that are going to hurt this forum. I locked a thread on Friday evening to stop any further examples of what I judged to be racist posts appearing there. But posting a single message which the moderator considers to be racist (and in the end that is only my opinion) does not mean that the person who posted it is automatically identified as racist themselves. I had to make a decision on that thread alone. I can't dictate how you may feel about some fellow members of this forum, but please take a moment to consider the way you express those feelings.
I missed that comment, lucky there for Watacock, sorry, I mean @Watameire. Sticks and stones and all that.
Absolute classic, the best ever. You have basically said that everybody that was on that protest is a racist
The events on this forum of the last 48 hours are making me seriously reconsider the current rules regarding non-footballing posts. Having a single thread for current affairs & political subjects seemed to be working pretty well for the last eight months. Now the bad news thread has now become bogged down in divisive political content. I think it may be best for the forum if there is no further political / current affairs content posted. From the point of view of freedom of speech that is a pity. But once again toxic politics is threatening to wreck this little community. Protecting our community must come first. Anyone wishing to comment on this, please do so now. Unless I am convinced otherwise I'll implement this change in one hour.
