    I have a nasty suspicion about Slot. Can see Liverpool going in to a period of decline. Not sure he is as good as made out last season.

    In a way this is normal after replacing someone as influential as Klopp, especially after he had been there for so long. I fully expected this to happen. I just expected it last season rather than this one!

    TBH I was really surprised at Slot's team selection last night. They needed a win, a strong team should have been picked. Arrogant from Slot, if Palace can play a strong team with all their commitments than Liverpool should also be able to.

    The PL blaming UEFA for the lack of Boxing Day fixtures makes no sense. The full set of Saturday fixtures could have been played on the Friday, plus give teams an extra day rest into the midweek set

    It's to do with tv contracts, the PL promised broadcasters 33 weekend rounds of games and without doing that weekend they wouldn't meet it.
