Not sure about that, we'd have to get him on a free. Maybe a loan, but would they take no loan fee or would they have other options once he's back in training and maybe playing?
I would be shocked if Palmer isn't the main focus to shift to free up not only a squad spot but wages for someone like Zambrano. As for Carvahlo, I've learned to never say never but think it would be tricky to manage.
I think carvalho wont be short of offers. I thinks its unlikely we land him. Wonder how we fit in zambrano though if everyone's fit. Imagine Matazo lives up to what we think he is, then he might be gone end of season.
One thing I can say about the current team is that I am confident that we will score. Probably haven't been able to say that since our forwards were Bowen/ Campbell / Grosicki.
A great win for sure. Continue with the luck they had in the first half and a top 6 finish is nailed if the injured players return sooner rather than later. Still a few no impact players to get rid of in January - you don't need the stats off a laptop to tell you which ones.
Zambrano fits in by covering Matazo when his hamstring inevitably goes after a couple of appearances!!
I still don't think we've seen the last of Tufan in a city shirt. If we do shift out Palmer he would be an ideal replacement and probably more doable than Cavahlo.
Tufan is having trouble to break in Trabzon eleven right now, and to be honest he is not looking good on pitch either when he got time, not getting any younger also, legs are a bit gone. I'd suggest to avoid him at the moment, we might not see the player we used to know on the pitch.
I think you're spot on there. Brentford will easily be able to command a £500k+ loan fee and they've no loyalty to us to waive that. Zambrano is destined for here anyway, so a no fee loan in Jan then a permanent signing in the summer makes perfect sense.
Joffy made it clear he wanted to come here as opposed to anywhere else - sounds like he told his agent to make it happen. Unless Carvalho does that, I don't see us getting him
