If we are still lower to mid-table approaching Xmas, I suspect it won’t be Sheehan’s problem to solve ….
Southampton defender Nathan Wood has apologised for verbally abusing supporters as he left the field at St Mary’s on Saturday. “I’m regretful that I let my emotions get the better of me, and I take full accountability for them,” he said. “I will learn from this and will do my best to improve our performances on the pitch.”
Could have won the game had Key had his boots the right way around...jokes aside away coaches dropped off a good 15 to 20 minute walk from the ground as the roads were closed...lucky there werent many coaches...the locals were friendly enough when trying to find the away end....with over 2200 Swans fans in attendance the away end was very tight and in the open air with large puddles of water to jump over....very vocal support as I dont think the stewards were making fans sit in their allocated seats...I certainly didnt...a rebel to the cause....Charlton started well on the front foot but Vigs was again in control of his area...their goal just after half time was again the kick start we needed and we controlled the rest of the game...Idahs goal was well taken and we deserved at least a draw....after the game the coaches were parked right outside the away end so no more additions to my step count. Onto Preston next,,,
