Not cooking (well, not me personally), but as we're off to New Theatre to see Inside Number 9 we popped to Minerva for lunch. I had steak pie (as usual) and the mrs had vegetarian moussaka, both were superb as always and very reasonably priced
Funny, as soon as I saw that pie coming up my screen I thought, looks like Christine's steak pie. Then, bugger me, it is! Great stuff!
Not a criticism as such but, for me, a bacon butty has to be made with streaky bacon - fat IS flavour!
I've watched a guy on you tube called als kitchen. He does a range of 30 minute curries (including madras). As good as a restaurant? But I enjoy them
We have one up here called a South Indian Garlic Chilli. It’s hot as ****, but the flavour is ****ing fabulous.
I did a while back with a recipe from The Curry Secret by Kris Dhillon. Best curries I've made with that book. Might need to dig it out of the box in the loft.
