I woke up at 7am. Doing so, I haven't had to go through the agony of following in real time. Its certainly a blessing at the moment.
I have just corrected the link. Going home with Adam and Jo. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0md5hp8?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile
QPR is up next on Wednesday, we need someone for the next losing match thread please, preferably somebody who’s never done one before.
I really feel we shouldn't let the players off at the moment. As much as Still is out of his depth the ****houses on the pitch are absolutely phoning it in and are an utter disgrace. A pathetic lack of effort for large portions of the match. Actually at the point where I might **** them off right from the beginning at Loftus Road.
It does make you wonder what input Trollope and Lallana are having. Between them you would think they have quite an influence. Unless that's the problem!
Partly why I don't think sticking Lallana in charge is going to make much difference. Didn't we stop Still bringing his own people over? Wonder why that was.
I thought it was a case of Stills people wanting to remain on the continent, rather than us stopping it.
For all we know Lallana may have a completely different preferred way of playing than Still. It's also his first coaching role so he may be less inclined to tell his boss he is making mistake after mistake. He can't do any worse than Still, that's the only guarantee. Give him a couple of games and see what happens whilst we search out the replacement.
Have to say despite the awful football on show I genuinely had a lot of fun in the first half in the Chapel corner. Some great crack. Second half less so but did enjoy the long rendition of 'having a party a when Redknapp dies' with some verses too rude to repeat here Sadly though the club have decided that now is the time to crack down on standing so it will likely get ruined before properly taking off. Shame.
